LOVIE D. HENSLEY, 101, died Thursday, August 17, 2006 at University Park Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born August 17, 1905 in Egypt, Arkansas, she was a homemaker and member of Carroll Road Christian Church and former (charter) member of Calvary Temple. She is survived by her daughters, Louise E. Arnold of Fort Wayne, Betty F. Farling of Hudson, OH and Marsha L. Lombard of Brea, CA; twenty grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and seven great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Hensley in 1978; sons, Raymond J. Hensley in 2004, Roy D. Hensley, Jr. in 1997 and daughter, Lucille V. Aikens in 1995. Funeral Services 11:00AM Monday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with Rev. Paul C. Paino officiating. Friends may call Monday 10-11AM. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family's preferred memorial is the Allen County Council on Aging.
