Luther J. Hunley Sr., 65, died Thursday August 16, 2012. He was born August 29, 1946 in Middlesboro, KY to Junior and the late Genittie Hunley. Luther was owner and operator of his own company Tri-State Drywall. Along with his father Junior. Hunley, surviving is wife, Sandra Hunley children, Rhonda (Eugene) Wireman, Sam (Ammie) Hunley, Sarah (Bob McKean) Blair, Simon (Bobbie) Hunley, Emily (Jeremy) Brudney, siblings, Genida (Bob) Trigg, Bobbie (Ron) Smithson, Johnnie (Sang) Hunley, Lois (Bill) Jones, Ricky (Jerri) Hunley, Sam (Nikki) Hunley, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, special friends, Debbie, Geneva, Sherman, Gary, and Chuck. He was preceded in death by a son Luther J. Hunley Jr., brother, Curtis Hunley, granddaughter, Amy Wireman. Service is 2:00 p.m. Monday August 20, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
