Lydia A. Emrick,79, died Sunday at the Community Health Center of Branch County, Coldwater, Michigan. Born to the late Milo and Daisy Rice she had worked at St. Joseph Hospital as a surgical tech. Lydia enjoyed family, cooking, crotcheting and volunteering for the church medical clinic and Coldwater Hospital laboratory. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Orland, IN, volunteer at the Coldwater Hospital. Surviving are grandchildren, Matthew P. (Jayma) Emrick, Chad (Wanda) Emrick, Tiffany (Brandon) Hamilton, Landon (Lisa) Emrick, and Evan Emrick, sister, Phyllis Rice, daughter-in law, Carol Emrick, 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Emrick, and son, Michael Emrick. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday March 24, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling 30 minutes prior to service. Calling also Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at funeral home.
