Marcelia Beltz ,88, went home to be with her Lord Friday February 24, 2012. Born May 28, 1923 in Muncie, IN to the late Ted and Hildred Spornhauer. Marcelia was a Claims Supervisor for Lincoln Life for 25 years. She was a member of the Trier Ridge Community Church of God where she was Prayer Chain Coordinator. Marcelia was passionate about sewing, reading, cross-word puzzles, bird watching and mystery movies. Surviving are children, Kathy Beltz and Michael Beltz both of Ft. Wayne, IN, 7 nephews, 1 niece and a host of great and great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and 2 brothers Theodore and Darrell Spornhauer. Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 28, 2012 at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Lloyd Harlan officiating. There is also calling Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment in the Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred Memorials to; Trier Ridge Community Church of God.
