Marcia Katherine Partridge, 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Born on May 22, 1935, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Russell and Dorothy Lucile (Walter) Strater.

Marcia graduated from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana and earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI). She had a fulfilling career as an administrative assistant, working for several organizations including Central Soya Corporation, Carrier Corporation, Decorating Den, and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at IUPUI.

In her free time, Marcia was an active volunteer at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, enjoyed participating in a monthly puzzling group, and loved traveling with her daughter and grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lucile Strater, and her sisters, Marilyn

Louise Bredemeyer and Mary Ann Schoenemann. Marcia is survived by her loving daughter, Cynthia Marie Partridge-Bunin, and her cherished grandson, Quentin James Bunin.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m., followed by a Graveside Service at 2 p.m. at Covington Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46804.
