Margaret Anderson, 89, died Thursday, February 25, 2016. Born in Hazard, Kentucky she was a daughter to the late Dudley and Emma (Hogston) Rowe. Margaret was a member of the South West Church of Christ. She was a wonderful homemaker for her family. After her children were grown she went to work at Peter Eckrich Co., retiring after many years of service.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Debbie) of McCalla, Alabama, Robert, Jr. (Lynn) of Butler, Tennessee and Michael (Kathy) of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Patricia Mitchell of Bluffton; 13 grandchildren, Chris, Brad, Matt, Ethan, Robert, Jason, Carrie, Mark, Katie, Aaron, Kyle, Josh and Dakota ; and 15 great grandchildren, Joseph, Tyler, Rachael, Jarod, Austin, Kayla Michelle, Robert, Brandon, Kayla Ann, Leah, Myles, Abygail, Emma, Noah and Isabella; two brothers, Roy and Bill Rowe; and two sisters, Betty Eicher and Jesse McCann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Anderson, in 1999; son, David Anderson, in 2012; grandson, Joel Anderson; three brothers Dudley Virgil, Ray and Harold Rowe; and three sisters, Molly Wheeler, Bonnie Nall and Genevia Chreech.

Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to American Lung Association, American Heart Association or the Alzheimer''s Association.
