Margaret May Cocks, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Coventry Meadows. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine Giles. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church since 1959. She worked at Wilma''s Town & Casual.
She is survived by her sons, Lynn (Barbara) of Roanoke and Michael (Diane) of Fort Wayne; sister, Patricia (Albert) Chamberlain of Hiawatha, Iowa; daughter in law, Linda Cocks; of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Rachele, Aaron, David, Eric, Tyler and Amanda; and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edward W. Cocks in 2000; son, Larry Cocks in 2009; and 10 siblings
Service is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial are to the Sigma Phi Gamma Delta Rho Chapter.
