Margie Lee (Moss) Krueckeberg, 95, of Fort Wayne, IN, died on March 1, 2024 at the Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born on December 30, 1928 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Elmer R. and Audrey (Counterman) Moss. She was the 5th of 12 children. She married the love of her life, Alfred W. Krueckeberg on May 28, 1949, enjoying over 50 years of marriage. She often told humorous stories of working at Pepsi Cola and Seyferts before becoming a housewife and mother. She loved bacon, playing her organ, word find puzzles, and reading the newspaper. She was an avid bingo player, loved to watch NASCAR and Cincinnati Reds baseball. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Krueckeberg; 6 sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by daughters, Janice (Chip) Neer, Ruth Hernandez and Linda Buell; son, Scott (Glenna) Krueckeberg all of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Judy Johnson and Becky Rife. Funeral service 1:00pm, Friday, March 8, 2024 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service.
