Maria Teresa Kable, 70, passed away on September 5, 2024. She was born in Manila, Philippines on April 15, 1954, and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1970 . She was the daughter of the late Dr. Dominador and Mrs. Patria Valeña. She worked for Petroleum Traders for 31 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a very devout Christian and lived her life to serve the Lord.She was the beloved aunt who spoiled all her nieces and nephews when she travels to Indianapolis and Michigan to help them celebrate their birthdays and other important events in their lives. In her spare time she enjoyed making plastic canvas crafts to decorate the house. She is survived by her husband of almost 33 years, Ron Kable; her siblings, Patricia (Mark) Spencer, Maria Valena (Jerry M.D.) Fletcher M.D., and  Maria Valeña, M.D (Sharolyn Bowman).  She leaves behind her God-daughter, Patricia Ann Riley and many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dulce Renaud and Dr. Jose Valeña(Lynn MD).

With profound sorrow, we remember Tita Terri, whose life was a testament to kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Her gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. As we say goodbye, we find solace in the enduring legacy of her compassion and the countless cherished moments shared. She was always present with an open heart and kind words of support. Her love for family and friends was a pillar of our lives. Tita Terri embodies our family values and God's words to love each other.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home,8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 with calling one hour prior to the service. Graveside burial will be on Monday September 16 at 10AM at Covington Memorial Gardens.
