Marilyn Ruth Blough went to be with Jesus on October 11, 2026, at Englewood Nursing Home. She was born in Fort Wayne on August 28, 1938, to the late Willis and Ruth (Hancock) Sprunger. She married Donald Blough, who preceded her in death in 1997.

Marilyn graduated from Northside High School and worked part-time for her extended family’s business, Fahlsing Accountancy Corp. She loved the Lord and was very active at Anthony Wayne Church of God, where she helped with Sunday School, Children’s Church and the Mission House. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading her Bible, and listening to Christian music.

She is survived by her son, Todd Blough; sister, Shirley Fahlsing; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sister, Connie Engleman; brother, Richard Sprunger; and half-sister, Laverda Gerber-Christner.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private at Covington Memorial Gardens.
