Marilyn Lea Cobb, 89, passed away on November 15, 2024. She was born in Whitley County, IN on March 22, 1935, a daughter of the late Leo and Eloise Souder.

She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. Marilyn was an avid sports fan and loved attending her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and scrapbooking. She was married to Charles W. Cobb for 44 years prior to his passing. After his passing, she enjoyed traveling the globe. More than anything she will lovingly be remembered as a supportive mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Gary Cobb and Laura (Buckley) Watson; grandchildren, Matt (Kate) Cobb, Sarah (David) Stambaugh, Bethany (Nathan) Hensley, and Elizabeth (Amanda) Wallace; great-grandchildren, Jaydyn White, Bennett Dickinson, Lexy Stephenson, Maggie Hensley, Owen Hensley, Molly Cobb, and Lincoln Stambaugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Cobb; grandson, Josh Watson; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Cobb; and a sister, Glora Armstrong.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with calling from 9 am to 10 am.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804.
