Marilyn Ilene Henderson, 86, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2012, during her stay at Woodview Healthcare. Born on September 29, 1926, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Grace Yarian. She retired from Magnavox after 42 years, also served as a volunteer at Woodview Healthcare and the VA Hospital for several years. She was a wonderful and loving Christian woman who will be greatly missed. She was a member of Bethel Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

She is also survived by a brother and sister in law, Maynard (Beverly) Yarian of New Haven; a son DeWayne (Anita) Henderson of Fort Wayne; and a daughter, Teresa (Kurt) Hathaway of Yoder. Grandchildren include: Heather (Naser) Elswerky, Amanda Hathaway, Isaiah Hathaway, Elizabeth Hathaway and Colena Henderson. Great-grandchildren include: Romy Elswerky, Hannah Elswerky and Hallah Elswerky.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley Henderson, and a brother, Max Yarian.

Memorial service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior to service. Memorials are to the family.
