Obituary

Marion Louise (Thomas) Bonner died April 5, 2007 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born in Dubuque, Iowa on July 7, 1935 and spent her childhood in St. Joseph, Michigan. Her family moved to Fort Wayne when she was fourteen years old and she graduated from South Side High School. She worked at Wolf & Dessauer, sold residential real estate and retired from the family business, Ridge Co. She was an antique collector, enjoyed gardening, and had a special love for horses. She and her husband lived in southern Indiana from 1994 to 2003 when they returned to Fort Wayne. She was a life time member of the United Methodist Church and was very active in her parishes.
She is survived by sons William (Rea) Baxter of Henderson, Kentucky and Jay Baxter of Fort Wayne, brother Joseph (Mary Lou) Thomas, grandsons Jeff, Aaron, Nick, and Josh Baxter, and two great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett Bonner, her parents William and Josephine Thomas, brother James Thomas, and grandson Ryan Baxter. Services 10:00am. Saturday at the Christ's United Methodist Church. Roanoke, Indiana. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials are to the church.
