Marjoria J. Dafforn, 86, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Markle, IN, Marjoria was a daughter to the late Delvia and Talitha (Mounsey) Stickler. Marjoria married Danny G. Dafforn on June 18, 1960, and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2018. She worked at Lutheran Hospital as a registered nurse for 25 years, until her retirement. After retirement, she worked at the Coventry Walgreens in Fort Wayne. Marjoria was an active member of The Chapel, attending Sunday School and Bible Study. Her faith was of upmost importance to her. Marjoria had an unbelievable friend network; she never knew a stranger. She loved taking pictures and traveling. Marjoria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her children, Julie Ann (Gary) Ratliff-Hickling, Sallie Ann (Jeff) Hersha, Michael Lynn Dafforn, Jeffery Scott (Kookie) Dafforn; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jane Helzerman and Judy Parks. Funeral service 1:00pm, Friday, August 9, 2024, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
