Marjorie J. Hobbs 84 passed peacefully Friday at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of the Woodburn United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, Richard (LuAnn) Hobbs, Huntington, IN, James (Penny) Hobbs, Waterloo, IN, Walter Jr. (Patsy) Hobbs, Ft. Wayne, daughters, Margo Tester, Sandra Hobbs, Susan Pierce, all of Ft. Wayne, brother John Willit Jr., Roanoke, IN, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter and a sister, Betty Burgener. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There will be calling Monday 2-4 6-8 at the funeral home.
