Marjorie Ellen Mabee, 79, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Arcola, she was the daughter of the late James Richard Linton and Alice R. (Esterline) Linton. She had worked at University Park Nursing Center for over 28 years; and enjoyed fishing with her granddaughter.

She is survived by her, daughter and son in law, Pam and Jeff Engle of Fort Wayne; sisters, Betty Monhollen of New Haven and Alice Kipfer of Hamilton; granddaughter, Ashley Engle of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Clarence W. Mabee, in 1997; and a brother, Richard Linton.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 4-8 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
