Mark G. Elliott, Sr., 80, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, February 20, 2014 suddenly at St. Joe Hospital. The Fort Wayne native was the only child to the late, Stephan and Violet Elliott.
He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Navy. He was an active member of American Legion Post 296 and a Adjutant involved in 4th district and fraternal order of Eagles.

He was retired from Allen County Police Department after 30 years of service and then had worked at Diester Machine.

He is survived by his children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Elliott, in 2012; and three children.

The family will be receiving friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
