Marvin J. Bennett, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Millers Merry Manor. He was born November, 24, 1929 in Mishawaka, the son of the late Ralph & Nora Bennett. He was a former Whitley County resident and farmer who had resided in Fort Wayne for the last 18 years of his life. He retired from Dana Corporation after 32 years. He is survived by two former wives, Marjorie (Maggert) Bennett, and Doris Whitney Bennett; sons, Dennis Bennett of Grabill and Claude Bennett of Columbia City; daughters, Claudia Goodman of Saint Cloud, FL, Kathi Roman of Columbia City, and Lisa Campbell of Richmond, VA; 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell, and a sister, Marlene Black. Funeral Sunday 2 p.m. with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.
