Marvin Wayne Campbell, Sr., 78, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his residence.  Marvin was born February 10, 1942 in Elmira, NY a son of the late Wilford L. and Corabel W. (Smith) Campbell.  He worked for the Crown Group, he was a New York Yankees and University of Michigan Wolverines fan but he especially enjoyed going to all of his grandchildren's sporting events.  Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Doris (Bellanger) Campbell; sons, Michael (Jada) Campbell; Marvin W. Campbell, Jr.; and William (Di) Campbell; daughters, Sharon (Duncan Sr.) Kinzer; Rose (Mark) Cole; and Emily Combs; and sister, Carol Bellanger; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by daughters, Beatrice Spillers and Hope Campbell; sister, Arlene Hess; brothers, Glen Campbell; George Campbell; Bob Campbell; and Edward Campbell. Funeral service is 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with visitation from 9:00 AM until time of service.  Attendance is limited to 25 people wearing masks and maintaining social distancing guidelines.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.  Following the burial, a luncheon, where everyone is invited, will be held.
