Mary Isabelle Barnett, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Harbor Assisted Living. Born June 16, 1923 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Leah (Norris) Long. She was a graduate of the North Side High School and retired from Lincoln Life in 1983, after 23 years of service; she was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Kenneth and Cathy Barnett of Fort Wayne and David and Beth Barnett of St. Petersburg, Florida; son in law, Steve Esterline of Colorado; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren with one due anyday.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Harold Roy Barnett, on January 2, 2012; a daughter, Georgia Esterline; sisters, Mae Squire and Dortha Kasner; and brother, Thurman Long.
Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday April 14, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial are to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
