Mary Elizabeth (nee Hosking) Kress 86, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 in Fort Wayne. Born in Canton, Illinois, on March 17, 1924, she was a dedicated teacher serving many students as a teacher and reading consultant for the South Redford School District, Redford, Michigan. She earned her bachelor degree and master degree from Wayne State University. Her happiest times were spent with her husband of 64 years and with her family. She never stopped learning, was well-traveled, and an accomplished bridge player. She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Don) Perry of Fort Wayne; and Emily (Tom) Goodwin of Mason, Michigan; four granddaughters, one great granddaughter, her sisters and her brother. Memorial Service: April 24 2010, 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 275 W. Michigan, Jackson, Michigan. Calling one hour prior to the service at the church.
