Mary Jane Gillie, 93, died March 11, 2010 at Laurels of Dekalb. Born in Allen County to the late William and Maud (nee, Kiester) Strauss. She was a homemaker. "She lived and she loved." She is survived by her son, James Gillie of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sherry Thain of Hamilton, IN; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gillie in 1986; daughter, Mary Kay Smyth in 2003; and three brothers. Service is 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2010 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior to service.
