Mary Jane Gutmann, 92, died February 21, 2015. She was born June 7, 1922 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Frank W. and Elizabeth (Blochberger) Fry. She worked at J.C.Penny for 13 years.

Surviving is a daughter, Debra (Alonzo) Drennon, 9 grandchildren, Kathleen (Bernard), Sondra (David), Kristal, Stacia, Shannon, Gregory (Angela), Nicole (Oved), Zachary, Nathan, 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph F. Gutmann, 2013, a son, Ronald Gutmann and a daughter Patricia Carlson and 1great-grandson Dalton Skaggs and 1 sister Ruth Wappas and 3 brothers Fred, Frank and Clifford Fry.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday February 27, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling Thursday from 3 -7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are to Grace St. John''s United Church of Christ.
