Mary Eugenia "Jeannie" (Goodman) Campbell, 68, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital. She retired in 2009 as executive director of the Beaman Home, Warsaw, having served as director for 20 years. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School, Southern Seminary, and Bowling Green State University.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. William R. (Martha) Goodman Jr. of Lynchburg, Va.; sister-in-law, Katheryne Lockridge Goodman of Forest, Va.; nephew, Rev. Richard Goodman of Portsmouth, Va.; nieces, Jessica G. Ridge of Brown Summit, N.C. Kate Goodman of Lynchburg, Va. and Elizabeth G. Michael of Fishersville, Va.; and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Goodman; brother, Charles Robert Goodman of Timber Ridge, Va.; and her dear friend, Laurel Nunstedt of Fort Wayne.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date at ARP Cemetery, Timber Ridge, Va. Near Lexington. Memorial Contributions may be made to Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church, 73 Sam Houston Way, Lexington, Va., 24450.
