Mary Ashworth (Mitchell) Ashworth's Obituary
Mary Evelyn Ashworth, 92, of New Haven, died on Thursday, November 18, 2013 with her family by her side. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Fred Mitchell and Kathryn Kennedy. She attended New Haven United Methodist Church and St. Johns Catholic Church. She retried from General Electric in 1983, after 33 years of service.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Larry and Pat Ashworth of New Haven; two grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian (Joseph) Marcello of Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, Lawrence W. Ashworth, on June 18, 2010; one brother; and two sisters.
Per Mary''s request there will be no services. She was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
