Mary "Esther" Pilling, 70, passed peacefully, Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Joe Hospital.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Alex and Consuelo Sanchez.  She graduated from South Side High School in 1966 and then went to college with an art scholarship.  Esther retired from Blue Eagle Trucking as a dispatcher after 20 years of service.  Esther had a love of music she played the Saxophone and Clarinet.  She enjoyed art; she made many beautiful mosaics, loved to draw and had a green thumb.

Esther is survived by her companion of over 25 years, Shawn Feeley; son, Jason Pilling; brother, Alex (Catherine) Sanchez; aunt, Aurora Pena; and several cousins.

Services are 11 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.
