Mary Evelyn Wilder, 83, passed away June 27, 2021. Born in Lafayette, IN she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Morris. Evelyn married Richard Wilder, he preceded her in death. She was a telephone operator and waitress in Lafayette while raising her children. She then went on to doing child care for many children. She enjoyed crocheting, reading  and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Ron Morris, daughters, Jamie (Jameson) West, Terri LeQuia grandchildren , Mandy, Dani, Shane, Shelly, Shanna, Jessica, 23 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren, sisters, Carolyn, Dottie, Dana, brothers, David, Dennis Larry and Dan Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilder, granddaughter, Amberly Craig, brothers, Chuck, Daryl and Dean Morris, her sister and best friend, Joyce.

Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Monday, July, 5, 2021 with calling from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, She will be interred  at Covington Memorial Gardens.
