Marygold (Mary) Smoak, died November 5, 2012. She was born March 28, 1911 in DeKalb County; (Spencerville) IN. Mary lived the last 7 years in Indianapolis, IN. in the Berkshire of Castle Senior Living Community. Mary retired from Motor Technology Dept. and General Electric in Fort Wayne after 45 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the General Electric Elex Club, Quintus Chapter and the General Electric Quarter Century Club. Surviving is a niece, Diane M. Hobson, Midland, MI and a nephew, David M. Hobson, Fishers, IN. and great nephews, Zack, and Ali Ahmed She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Koger "Spud" Smoak, April 11, 2002 and brother whom she raised Robert E. Hobson, March 27, 2003. Honoring Mary''s request there will be no calling or service. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
