Marylan L. Roemer, 95, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Lena Hollenbeck. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She retired from Magnavox after 12 years of service.
She is survived by her nieces, Beverly Shaw, Sharon (Scott) Harvey, Stephanie and Sue Heidenrich and, Eileen Smith.
She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Edward Roemer in 1993; and three sisters, Esther Keintz-Rieck, Ruth Palmer and Naomi Hollenbeck.
Service is 2 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
