Matilda A. Beck, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday July 8, 2006 at Lutheran Home. She was born June 8, 1922 at home in Jay County. She had worked at General Electric and ARA. She is survived by her husband Verlin A. Beck of Fort Wayne; daughters, Joyce Beck of Fort Wayne and Karyn Beck of Indianapolis; a son, E. Lee (Lora) Beck of Fort Wayne; brother Wilfred Krieg of Saint Paul, Minn; a sister, Sister Bernice Krieg of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Taylor and Madelyn Beck. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lionel Krieg. Funeral services Tuesday,12:00 p.m. with visitation two hours prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice.
