Matthew Guzik, age 84 passed away August 18, 2009 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. He was born October 14, 1924 to Andrew and Anna Louer Guzik in Danbury, CT. He was a World War II Army veteran and a Normandy Survivor. Matthew was a plumber for Barden Corporation and the Danbury Hospital. He is survived by his nephews Joseph and Michael Dran of Bethel, CT, his niece Patricia VanAuken, and her husband, Randy, of Freemont, and two great nephews, Michael and Brian VanAuken. He was an avid gardener and a Mr. Fixit.
