Maurice "Mo" Richard Shively Sr., 75, passed October 7, 2019 at Majestic Care at 5:15 AM. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Maurice was a son to the late Maurice Clayton (1969), Violla Bell (Shirley) Shively (1990).

Maurice is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Karen Sue (Susan) Shively, children; Maurisa Madonna (Keith) Huffman, Maurice Shively Jr., and Jo Anna Susan (Rex Douglas) Kogin. Maurice has six grandchildren; Sinda Marie Puker, Richard Allen Huffman, Mauranda Rai Huffman, Samantha Sue Huffman, and Alexander Nicholas Kogin. Maurice was preceded in death by his grandparents Burt (1965) and Georgia Shirley (1983) and Grandson Keith James Huffman (1989).

Maurice worked for the City of Fort Wayne for over 50 years. Maurice also enjoyed a multitude of interesting hobbies such as Kekionga Long Rifle Club, riding his Harley Davidson, and performing reenactments in the local park as well as The Old Fort. Maurice was also a devoted member of the Maranatha Church of God (formally known as Southside Church of God) in which he taught junior church as well as driving the church bus on Sundays.

Maurice also had the pleasure of owning two beloved pets; a cat named Angel Rai and a dog named Hoosier Blue, that were his constant companions. Hoosier Blue passed over the rainbow bridge prior to Maurice's death.
