Melvin A. Lorman, 90, died Saturday August 11, 2012 at his home. He was born November 10, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Anna Lorman. He retired as assistant manager for K-mart. Melvin was a Army Veteran of WWII and a 25 year member of the Men''s Senior Golf League Surviving are his wife Barbara Lorman, daughters, Melanie (Tom) Amundson, Julie Schollaert, 8 grandchildren, Rex, Kevin, Timothy, Susan, Annamae, Ruth, Daniel and Teri, 13 great-great grandchildren, Leonidas, Emily, Jordan, Skyler, Erika, Eathen, Kailey, Brandon, Kote, Kory, Kevin, Kailey and John, sister, Evelyn Mayo. He was preceded in death by his first wife June Lorman and a son, Mark Felger along with 2 brothers and 1 sister. Service is 2:00 p.m. Friday August 17, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Military honors to follow the service provided by U.S. Army and American Legion Post #241 Waynedale.
