Meredith E. Esterline, 89, of Yoder, IN, passed away on June 2, 2024.

He was born in Roanoke, IN on September 5, 1934, a son of the late Robert and Frances Esterline.

He married Shirley Sontchi Esterline April 1, 1956. They spent 64 years of marriage together before her passing in 2020.

He retired from ITT after 42 years of service.

Meredith enjoyed fishing and took wonderful care of his yard of which he was very proud.
In his spare time, he enjoyed helping and spending time at Fairview Church of God.

He is survived by son, Gordon (Linda) Esterline; grandchildren, Benjamin (Jennifer) Esterline, Sarah Katelyn Esterline; sister, Beverley Fleming.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Amy Mountz; and siblings, Eloise Dambra, Larry Esterline.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 1 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804 with calling from 11 am to 1 pm.

A burial will immediately follow at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
