Michael S. Dayton, 75, passed away on February 13, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Kenneth and Margaret Dayton.

Michael worked as a Sheet Metal Worker and owned The Almond Garten with his wife, Sue.  In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars, playing cards, and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his children, Jason (Anne) Dayton, Jessica (Marty) Aberle, and Joshua (Sarah) Dayton; brother, David (Eary) Dayton; and step-children, Jeff (Jenny) True, and JoAnn (Troy) Blount. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Dayton; and great-grandchildren, Aidan and Carter Turner.

Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 with calling from 11 am until 1 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8404 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Victory Junction.
