Michael Joe Goodwin 58 died Monday July 27, 2009 at his home. Born August 2, 1950 in Mattoon, IL to Mary and the late Charles Goodwin, he lived in Arcola, IN most of his life. He was the owner/operator of the Country Spirits in Arcola and retired from the Conrail Railroad. Mike was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears Fan. Surviving are his daughter; Amy Goodwin, Ft. Wayne, son; Scott (Kendra) Goodwin, Ft. Wayne, mother; Mary Goodwin, Ft. Wayne, brothers; Robert (Donna) Goodwin, Ft. Wayne, Ronald (Laura) Goodwin, Huntertown, sisters; Pam (Joe) Klug, Ft. Wayne, Deanna (Paul) Keller, Ft. Wayne, Cathy Turner, Mattoon, IL, Patty (Jim) Goatley, Tower Hill, IL, five grandchildren; Marissa, Ethan,Demetrius,Dontai,and Alexia Goodwin partner; Karen Goodwin, several nephews and neices, two step children Jeremy Wilson, Kerri Hampshire.
