Michael "Mike" L. Guptail, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born to the late John and Marilyn Tucker.

Mike loved to travel, fishing and camping with his family. He loved his grandchildren and would babysit them every chance he could. For 30+ years he was an avid member of the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society.

Mike is survived by his wife of 44 years Donna Guptail; two children Julie Ormiston and Matt (Stephanie) Guptail; four grandchildren Jacob Ormiston, Mason Ormiston, Isaac Guptail and Oliver Guptail and seven siblings Cindy Quinton, Suzette Caton , Cheryl Sauer, Tim Tucker, John Tucker, Dick Guptail and Jean Rosalez. He is preceded in death by both parents and a brother Doug Tucker.


The family will be welcoming friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
