Michael Patrick McCann, 71, died Sunday, March 27, 2016. He was born March 6, 1945 in La Cross, WI to the late Edward and Leona McCann. Mike was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and UAW Local 2209. Mike''s family wants to thank Lutheran Hospital staff for the care and compassion shown to our loved one.

Surviving is his wife Gloria Jean, son George (Jody), daughter Jackie (Al) Hesselman, 3 brothers, Gene, Jay (Donna) Dennis (Kim Weber) all McCann, sisters, Maragaret (Tom), Sue Ann (Tom) Buick, 7 grandchildren, Michael (Kristin), Kyle, Sam, Michaela, Nathan, April, Brandon and 2 great-grandchildren, Brantley, Briggslee. Mike was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Jack, Jerry, Jan, Joe McCann.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 9, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 10700 Aboite Center Rd. 46804 with calling 30 minutes prior to mass. There is also calling Friday April 8 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. from 2-5 p.m. Rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
