Michael E. "Mike" Rahrig, 81, died Tuesday April 10, 2012 in the Hospice Home. Born January 24, 1931 in Landeck, OH to the late Louis and Olivia Rahrig. Mike worked as an auto mechanic and was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Rahrig, Ft. Wayne, children, Diane (Steve) Michaels, Ft. Wayne, IN, Nancy Siegel, Ft. Wayne, IN, Patty (Dave) Sexton, Indianapolis, IN, Kris McDermott, Carmel, IN, Tony (Tish) Rahrig, Tim, Jeff (Erin), Jerry (Sarah) Rahrig, all of Ft. Wayne, IN, sisters, Rosemary Mc Pheron, Norene (Dick) Ricker, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Angela Ricker, Sister Mary Eleanor and a granddaughter, Katie Mc Dermott. Service is 11:00 a.m. Monday April 16, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church,10700 Aboite Center Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There will also be calling Sunday 2-7 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred Memorials to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and to TV Mass.
