Michael Edward Steadman, 64, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family located in Fort Wayne, IN.  Born in Newtown, Connecticut, Michael was the son of the late Joseph Sancho and Doris Virginia Steadman.

Michael served in the United States Army before leaving and relocating to Fort Wayne with his small family.  He was an active member with Love Church and Firepoint Church as well as mentoring others on their spiritual journey in life.  Connecting with several people, Michael loved communicating with people to spread healing and happiness after going through his own transition to rediscovering the his love of Christ.  He loved being a grandparent, reading, and attending church.  He is survived by his wife, Sharon Steadman, of 42 years, his son Lamaar and daughter Mimory, his two grandchildren Maksim Myers and WillieAnna Steadman, as well as several in-laws that he was closely connected to:  Henry McPherson, Tyrone Turner, Mark Turner, David Turner, Isaac Turner Jr, Dave Allen Turner, David Williams, and Valerie Lee.  His is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

All services are to be private.  Entombment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens
