Michael "Mike" W. Treace, 73 of Avilla passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his home with family by his side. Mike was born November 17, 1951.

Mike enjoyed racing, fishing, camping, going on vacation and driving truck. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife of 55 years Sheila Treace, four sons Michael (Karol) Treace, Daniel (Karen) Treace, Scott (Becky) Treace, Victor (Brittany) Treace. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Five sister's Shirley McClure, Becky (Ivan) Graves, Dixie (Don) Cole, Cameo Moody, and Rochelle (Mike) Alexander. Three brothers, Edgar (Vonda) Treace, Roy (Dawn) Treace, Roger (Jolinda) Treace. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Sherman Treace, Jr.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday June 6, 2025, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at Covington Memorial Gardens.
