Mildred L. Brown 97 died Wednesday at her home. Born in Panama, IL to the late Andrew and Anna Danco she retired from International Harvester in 1975 after 25 years of service. Surviving are granddaughters, Lisa Paridaen, Ft. Wayne, Theresa Newman, Ohio, Valerie Sanders, Churubusco, IN, grandsons, Bob Newman, Wabash, IN, Kevin Newman, TX, Gary Newman, S. Whitley, IN, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Lee Brown and daughter, Zoe Newman. Service is 2 p.m. Monday with calling 2 hours prior to service at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
