Mildred G. Covitt, 91, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at St. Anne''s Home with her daughters at her side. During the tax season, you would find her at David L. Wade & Associates. She also worked for H & R Block for 10 years. She will always be remembered as a source of strength and missed dearly by her family. She is survived by her children, Steven Covitt of Los Angeles, Calif., Susan Covitt and Barbara Brunson both of Fort Wayne; 2 grandchildren, Lisa Biggins and Gary Brunson; and 4 great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacob, Grace and Hannah. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack of 47 years in 1998. Service is 1:00 p.m., Monday, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior to service.
