Mildred June Hurst, 93, died Thursday, January 3, 2019.  She was born November 30, 1925 in Ft. Wayne. IN. to the late Russell and Emma Bumgardner.  Mildred was a machinist and worked home health care.  A past member of the Big Lake Church of God and the D.A.V. and V.F.W. Post 4717 Wolf Lake.

Surviving are her children; Paul (Wilma) Hurst, Richard (Diane) Hurst, James (Dianna) Hurst, MaryLou (Mark Peterson) Hurst, Wilda (Jim) Gordon, 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.  Mildred was preceded in death by her former husband Paul Hurst Sr. in 1967, and a son Charles in 1985 and a brother Jasper Bumgardner

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Preferred memorials are to V.F.W. 4717 Wolf Lake.  www.covingtonmemorial.com
