Obituary

Milton Ray McLain, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Heritage Park. Born in Fort Wayne he was the son of the late, Robert John McLain and Hazel Irene (nee, Deal) McLain. Milton served two years in the Army during WWII and had retired from Phelpe Dodge Magnet Wire after 39 years of service, in 1989. Milton was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Milton is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, they were married June 25, 1949, Erma M. McLain; daughters, Janet McLain and Donna Wies both Fort Wayne; son, Richard (Anita) McLain of Kiowa, Colorado; sisters, Lorraine Tew and Eleanor Smith; granddaughters, Linda, Kristy, Tara and Miranda; and 2 great grand children, Kiley and Chance.

Milton is preceded in death by his brother, Bob McLain.

Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. He will be laid to rest at Covington memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the Diabetes Association.
