Miriam E. Black, 86, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and had worked as a nurse for 27 years at Lutheran Hospital. She is survived by her children Michael Black and Jane (Tom) Clayton; brothers Clarence (Georgina) Roth and Charles (Carol) Roth; sisters Edna Eickhoff, Eloise Zion and Ruth (Dale) Graft; and sister-in-law Bonnie Roth. Miriam is preceded in death by her husband Ansel; brothers Walter and John Roth; and sisters Ethel Nycum, Dorothy Fogwell. Funeral Service will be 11:00a.m. Monday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington RD with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be at the funeral home 1:00-3:00p.m. and 5:00-7:00p.m. on Sunday. Memorial Contributions can be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
