Obituary

Naomi Sutter-McNett, 99, passed peacefully Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the Cedars.  Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter to the late Walter Kline and Helen (Singer) Kline.  Naomi was a graduate of South Side High School.  She had worked in the knitting mills early on and then later at Magnavox.  She was a devoted Christian and member of the North Side Missionary Church.  She was a wonderful homemaker for her family; she was talented at crocheting and knitting.

Naomi is survived by her children, Jerrold "Jerry" (Linda) Sutter and Judy Emley; grandchildren, Andrew (Valerie) Sutter, Kimberly (Paul) Clark, Kevin (Sara) Sutter and Denise Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Brittney Sutter, Colon Forbing, Nora Sutter, Drake (Elle) Hoffman and Dayne Hoffman; sisters, Dorothy Meyer and Evelyn Trietsch; and sister in law, Laura Kline

Naomi was preceded in death by her first husband, Wendell L. Sutter, in 1982; second husband, Richard McNett, in 2015; son in law, Jerry Emley; brother, Walter Kline; and a grandson, Jeffrey Emley.

Funeral Services are 4 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior to the service.  Officiating will be Pastor Christina Ryan-Perkins.  She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
