Norma Jean Diemer, 78, passed Sunday, December 1, 2019.  Born in Breathitt County, KY, she was a daughter the late Luther Parks and Geneva (Landsaw) Parks.  She retired from Raytheon after 49 years.  She was a devout christian, devoted wife and a loving and fair mother to her boys.

Norma is survived by her three sons, Darrell Diemer, Darwin (Sharon) Diemer, and David (Marian) Diemer; Brother, Kenneth; sister, Debbie; 3 grandchildren, Skylar, Caleb and Katelyn; and 3 great-grandchildren, Sayge, Giselle and Roman.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Diemer, in 2000; daughter, Lisa Ann Diemer, in  1965; and Brothers, Jesse, David, Ray, Eugene; and sister, Wanda.

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  Calling is also 4-8 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Wayne Gullian.  She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Heart to Heart Hospice.
