Norma "Sue" Warner Robinson, 96, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024. She was surrounded by her daughters and sons-in-law and was welcomed into Heaven as they sang to her. Sue was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and while she lived in Indiana for a long time, in her heart, Kentucky was home too. Sue worked in the insurance field for many years. In her later years, she was content to watch the birds while having her coffee in the mornings (along with two mini-powdered sugar donuts). She learned to play Chinese checkers as a child and she kept her title as champion even to the end. She quickly became skilled at dominoes. She was a good listener and a problem-solver. She always had a positive outlook on life and was quick to say each day was a good day. She was kind and thoughtful. She was strong and resilient. She raised four daughters and managed to stay sane and even kept her sense of humor. She made all of her grandkids and great-grandkids feel special. She never said "I told you so" even though there were many times she could have. She was truly Sweet Sue. And for such a sweet person, she was incredibly tough.  She had grit. Sue is survived by and will forever be missed by her daughters, Candee (Jeff) Hartman of Fort Wayne; Penny (David Grossman) Robinson of St. Louis, MO; Peggy (Mark) Yawberg of Fort Wayne; Jill (Brian) Denney of Fort Wayne; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sweet Sue will be remembered by her family in a private service. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
