Norma Jean Underwood 86, died Sunday October 9, 2011 in Heritage Park Nursing Facility. Born in West Milton, Ohio on January 11, 1925 to the late Russel E. and Edith Mae Sowry Norma was a homemaker. Surviving are daughters, Paulette L. Ward, Dayton, Ohio, Cheryl Bernier, Phoenix, AZ, brother, Carol Sowry, 5 grandchildren, Eugena Coate, Kelli Minnich, Joyce Ventruella, Denise Kline, Aaron Bernier, 5 great-grandchildren, Brittney, Joshua, Zachary, Amanda and Christian. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Paul Underwood June 14, 1983. Memorial services is 1:00 p.m. Thursday October 20, 2011 at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church 4700 Vance Ave. with calling 2 hours prior to service. Don Talbert officiating. Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Friday October 21, 2011 in Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City, Ohio.
